I have fished several rivers in Norway this summer like Eira, Stryn, Laerdal and Stjördal with both good and not so good fishing. Biggest one that I managed to catch was 103cm and gave me a real hard fight with a 70 meters rush right after the take. Had several salmons around 90 cm and also lost a few nice ones as well. Hopefully I will be able to squeeze in another trip before the season closes in end of August.
Had a short visit to Ljungan.
Went down to Mörrum for one day to target the first salmons and then later 2 days of fishing in Em. Long story short, total blank for me but Martin manage to catch some nice sea trouts up to 6+kg.
Had a nice day, 3 fish up with biggest 4+ kg chrome. Insane fights in a wonderful spring weather.
First trip of the year, so nice to be back. Managed to catch one sea trout in pool 2 that was around 70 cm long.
Finally I received my new vise from Marc Petitjean. I ordered I limited edition that is build in a beautiful blue steel color and a vise head made of Norwegian Damascus steel. The vise comes in a complete package with all tools and matching bags. I got #23!
Finally I was back to this beautiful river that has become my second home during the winter seasons for the last 3-4 years. Last season didn’t turned out good due to very low water level during whole winter but this year it has started of much better. A lot of fish has been caught since the start of season 1st of January but I have managed to get away for a trip only once. I plan to fish in Nyköpingsån a couple of times each month until april when other rives will start to look more interesting.
Spend a couple of days at local sea trout river. Due to low water the fish was totalt vanished.
Nice and warm night but I blanked
